One earring. Two stories. Entirely made by hand.
The top is a rectangular panel of pure silk fabric — hand painted with a leaf motif , bordered in rich maroon. Every stroke of the motif is applied by hand directly onto the silk.
Below it, connected by a silver-toned post, hangs a silk thread jhumka — hand wound, dome-shaped, finished with a row of silver ghungroo bells that catch the light and move gently as you do.
The combination is deliberate. The painted panel gives the earring its graphic, contemporary edge. The jhumka gives it its Indian soul. Together they create a silhouette that is neither purely traditional nor purely modern — exactly the kind of piece that works across both worlds.
